# Paste vs AltFuelUS

Paste and AltFuelUS both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of AltFuelUS's written reviews are positive against 53% of Paste's. AltFuelUS also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6). Paste's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (weekly vs every 13 months). On rating, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Paste is free to download; AltFuelUS costs $0.99 up front. Paste sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. AltFuelUS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Paste holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paste has 1.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Paste's written reviews are positive against 100% of AltFuelUS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paste ships an update weekly, AltFuelUS every 13 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
