# Paste vs Superlist

The clearest difference is monetization model: Superlist at free with in-app purchases against Paste's subscription. Superlist also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paste sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Superlist sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $6.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Superlist holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 460 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Paste's written reviews are positive against 48% of Superlist's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paste ships an update weekly, Superlist every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
