# Rewind vs TimeRecorder Task

The clearest difference is price: Rewind at Free against TimeRecorder Task's $1.99. Rewind also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (249 vs 2). TimeRecorder Task's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (67% vs 49%). On update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Rewind is free to download; TimeRecorder Task costs $1.99 up front. Rewind sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. TimeRecorder Task asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rewind holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rewind has 249 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Rewind's written reviews are positive against 67% of TimeRecorder Task's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
