# Rewind vs MBT

The clearest difference is update cadence: MBT at every 3 weeks against Rewind's every 5 months. MBT also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 18.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rewind sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and MBT sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rewind ships an update every 5 months, MBT every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
