# Extelsmart vs BLE Control

The clearest difference is update cadence: BLE Control at every 10 days against Extelsmart's every 2 months. Extelsmart's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Extelsmart ships an update every 2 months, BLE Control every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
