# Tayasui Memopad vs Paintwork

The clearest difference is monetization model: Paintwork at free with in-app purchases against Tayasui Memopad's subscription. Paintwork also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). Tayasui Memopad's advantage is review sentiment (76% vs 65%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tayasui Memopad sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Paintwork sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Tayasui Memopad against 4.6 for Paintwork.
