# Scratchy Cats vs Storm Area 51 Raid

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Scratchy Cats at none against Storm Area 51 Raid's 6. Scratchy Cats also leads on iOS requirement (6.0 vs 17.1). Storm Area 51 Raid's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 4) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price and review sentiment there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Storm Area 51 Raid sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Scratchy Cats asks for nothing beyond the download.

Storm Area 51 Raid holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Storm Area 51 Raid has 5.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Scratchy Cats's written reviews are positive against 47% of Storm Area 51 Raid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
