# Smove vs Stevedore

The clearest difference is ads: Stevedore at none against Smove's shown. Stevedore also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 82%). Smove's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smove sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stevedore sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stevedore holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smove has 1.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of Smove's written reviews are positive against 100% of Stevedore's.

Smove ships an update every 5 days, Stevedore every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
