# Learn Korean vs Korean

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Korean at 86% against Learn Korean's 33%. Korean also leads on rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 7). Learn Korean's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Korean sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Korean sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Korean holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Korean has 3.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Learn Korean's written reviews are positive against 86% of Korean's.

Learn Korean ships an update every 2 months, Korean every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
