# Lingvist vs BrandNewStudy

The clearest difference is update cadence: BrandNewStudy at every 4 days against Lingvist's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingvist sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BrandNewStudy sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lingvist ships an update monthly, BrandNewStudy every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
