# Partia 3 vs Dune

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Partia 3 at none against Dune's 3. Partia 3 also leads on price ($6.99 vs $10.99) and review sentiment (90% vs 79%). Dune's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (5K vs 53). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Partia 3 costs $6.99 and Dune $10.99 up front. Dune sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Partia 3 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dune holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dune has 5K ratings behind it against 53, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Partia 3's written reviews are positive against 79% of Dune's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Partia 3 ships an update every 4 weeks, Dune every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
