# Cheatbox vs VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Cheatbox at 5.0 against VPN's 4.4. Cheatbox also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ads (none vs shown). VPN's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Cheatbox asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cheatbox holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of Cheatbox's written reviews are positive against 92% of VPN's.

Cheatbox ships an update monthly, VPN every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
