# MÁV vs GreenGo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GreenGo at 49% against MÁV's 21%. MÁV's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.9) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MÁV holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MÁV has 382 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of MÁV's written reviews are positive against 49% of GreenGo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MÁV ships an update every 5 weeks, GreenGo monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
