# Decora Digital Dimmer & Timer vs Bromic Smart

The clearest difference is rating: Bromic Smart at 3.0 against Decora Digital Dimmer & Timer's 1.7. Decora Digital Dimmer & Timer's advantage is ratings volume (178 vs 21) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bromic Smart holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Decora Digital Dimmer & Timer has 178 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Decora Digital Dimmer & Timer's written reviews are positive against 8% of Bromic Smart's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
