# World Clock Pro vs Flip Clock

The clearest difference is monetization model: Flip Clock at free with in-app purchases against World Clock Pro's subscription. Flip Clock also leads on ratings volume (71K vs 1.4K) and device support (4 vs 2). World Clock Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. World Clock Pro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Flip Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

World Clock Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flip Clock has 71K ratings behind it against 1.4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of World Clock Pro's written reviews are positive against 72% of Flip Clock's.

World Clock Pro ships an update every 2 months, Flip Clock monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
