# CrewTracks vs Miter

The clearest difference is rating: Miter at 4.7 against CrewTracks's 3.8. Miter also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 36) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). CrewTracks's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 29%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Miter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miter has 2.7K ratings behind it against 36, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of CrewTracks's written reviews are positive against 29% of Miter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CrewTracks ships an update fortnightly, Miter weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
