# timeEdition vs Gobble

The clearest difference is rating: Gobble at 4.5 against timeEdition's 3.0. Gobble also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (49 vs 4). timeEdition's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gobble sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. timeEdition asks for nothing beyond the download.

Gobble holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gobble has 49 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of timeEdition's written reviews are positive against 40% of Gobble's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

timeEdition ships an update every 2 months, Gobble every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
