# Learn Languages vs BaOui

The clearest difference is ads: Learn Languages at none against BaOui's shown. Learn Languages also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 8). BaOui's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn Languages sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 2 months and BaOui sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BaOui holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn Languages has 7.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of Learn Languages's written reviews are positive against 100% of BaOui's.

Learn Languages ships an update every 2 months, BaOui fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
