# Midiacode vs SCond Center

The clearest difference is rating: Midiacode at 5.0 against SCond Center's 4.3. SCond Center's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Midiacode holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Midiacode's written reviews are positive against 26% of SCond Center's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Midiacode ships an update every 4 months, SCond Center weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
