# Narde vs PrefA

The clearest difference is rating: Narde at 4.2 against PrefA's 2.8. Narde also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 16 months) and ratings volume (362 vs 4). PrefA's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Narde sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PrefA sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Narde holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Narde has 362 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Narde's written reviews are positive against 44% of PrefA's.

Narde ships an update every 2 months, PrefA every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
