# Ice Candy vs Bubble Milk Tea Maker

The clearest difference is rating: Bubble Milk Tea Maker at 4.3 against Ice Candy's 3.8. Bubble Milk Tea Maker also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (118 vs 4). Ice Candy's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ice Candy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bubble Milk Tea Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bubble Milk Tea Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bubble Milk Tea Maker has 118 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Ice Candy's written reviews are positive against 97% of Bubble Milk Tea Maker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ice Candy ships an update every 5 months, Bubble Milk Tea Maker every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
