# Browser & Offline File Storage vs Magnet Linker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Magnet Linker at 71% against Browser & Offline File Storage's 27%. Browser & Offline File Storage's advantage is ratings volume (32K vs 781) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Browser & Offline File Storage sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Magnet Linker sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Browser & Offline File Storage holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Browser & Offline File Storage has 32K ratings behind it against 781, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Browser & Offline File Storage's written reviews are positive against 71% of Magnet Linker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Browser & Offline File Storage ships an update weekly, Magnet Linker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
