# Cadence vs Tori Note

The clearest difference is ads: Cadence at none against Tori Note's shown. Cadence also leads on update cadence (daily vs monthly). Tori Note's advantage is ratings volume (139 vs 12) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cadence sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tori Note sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Cadence against 4.6 for Tori Note. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tori Note has 139 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 72% and 72% positive.

Cadence ships an update daily, Tori Note monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
