# VERO vs Parler

The clearest difference is ads: VERO at none against Parler's shown. VERO also leads on rating (4.2 vs 3.9) and review sentiment (60% vs 44%). Parler's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VERO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Parler sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VERO holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VERO has 1.5K ratings behind it against 175, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 60% of VERO's written reviews are positive against 44% of Parler's.

VERO ships an update monthly, Parler every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
