# VERO vs Scene

The clearest difference is rating: Scene at 5.0 against VERO's 4.2. VERO's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 11). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VERO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Scene sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scene holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VERO has 1.5K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VERO ships an update monthly, Scene every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
