# VERO vs BBOTHEAPP

The clearest difference is rating: VERO at 4.2 against BBOTHEAPP's 3.0. VERO also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 4). BBOTHEAPP's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 60%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VERO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and BBOTHEAPP sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VERO holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VERO has 1.5K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of VERO's written reviews are positive against 71% of BBOTHEAPP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VERO ships an update monthly, BBOTHEAPP fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
