# VERO vs WatchOdyssey

The clearest difference is rating: WatchOdyssey at 5.0 against VERO's 4.2. WatchOdyssey also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs monthly). VERO's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VERO sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. WatchOdyssey asks for nothing beyond the download.

WatchOdyssey holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VERO has 1.5K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VERO ships an update monthly, WatchOdyssey every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
