# Tastemade vs PackTV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PackTV at none against Tastemade's 2. PackTV also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Both are free to download. Tastemade sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. PackTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

PackTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tastemade has 7.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
