# Tastemade vs Partytrick

The clearest difference is rating: Tastemade at 4.6 against Partytrick's 3.9. Tastemade also leads on ratings volume (7.7K vs 7) and device support (4 vs 2). Partytrick's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tastemade sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Partytrick asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tastemade holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tastemade has 7.7K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Tastemade's written reviews are positive against 67% of Partytrick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tastemade ships an update every 3 months, Partytrick every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
