# Marie Diamond vs Humanity Stream

The clearest difference is monetization model: Humanity Stream at free with in-app purchases against Marie Diamond's subscription. Marie Diamond's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (5.7K vs 21). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Marie Diamond sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $26.99 per year and Humanity Stream sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Marie Diamond holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Marie Diamond has 5.7K ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Marie Diamond's written reviews are positive against 77% of Humanity Stream's.

Marie Diamond ships an update every 3 weeks, Humanity Stream every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
