# Endless A vs Strum Machine

The clearest difference is rating: Strum Machine at 4.7 against Endless A's 3.7. Strum Machine also leads on ratings volume (120 vs 3) and chart position (#160 vs unranked). Endless A's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 89%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Strum Machine sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Endless A asks for nothing beyond the download.

Strum Machine holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Strum Machine has 120 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Endless A's written reviews are positive against 89% of Strum Machine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Endless A ships an update every 8 days, Strum Machine fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
