# DroneDeploy Flight App vs TelloFpv

The clearest difference is price: DroneDeploy Flight App at Free against TelloFpv's $6.99. DroneDeploy Flight App also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (5.3K vs 28). TelloFpv's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 40%) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

DroneDeploy Flight App is free to download; TelloFpv costs $6.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DroneDeploy Flight App holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DroneDeploy Flight App has 5.3K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of DroneDeploy Flight App's written reviews are positive against 60% of TelloFpv's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DroneDeploy Flight App ships an update fortnightly, TelloFpv weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
