# Swift Timer vs Re

The clearest difference is ads: Swift Timer at none against Re's shown. Swift Timer also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). Re's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 13 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swift Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Re sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swift Timer ships an update every 13 months, Re every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
