# FasCard vs ECC Connect

The clearest difference is ads: ECC Connect at none against FasCard's shown. ECC Connect also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.6). FasCard's advantage is ratings volume (152 vs 31) and review sentiment (14% vs 6%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ECC Connect holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 2.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 152 and 31 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of FasCard's written reviews are positive against 6% of ECC Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FasCard ships an update every 3 months, ECC Connect every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
