# Scoop MAE vs InsightMobile SE

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scoop MAE at every 11 days against InsightMobile SE's every 2 months. Scoop MAE also leads on review sentiment (40% vs 17%) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). InsightMobile SE's advantage is ratings volume (158 vs 8) and rating (2.2 vs 2.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

InsightMobile SE holds the better App Store score, 2.2 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InsightMobile SE has 158 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Scoop MAE's written reviews are positive against 17% of InsightMobile SE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scoop MAE ships an update every 11 days, InsightMobile SE every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
