# MASS3D vs WikyScan

The clearest difference is update cadence: WikyScan at every 2 weeks against MASS3D's every 2 months. WikyScan also leads on ratings volume (36 vs 5). MASS3D's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MASS3D holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WikyScan has 36 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MASS3D ships an update every 2 months, WikyScan every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
