# Mach Note vs My Cloud Home

The clearest difference is rating: My Cloud Home at 4.8 against Mach Note's 3.0. My Cloud Home also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (14K vs 2). Mach Note's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 40%). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mach Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. My Cloud Home asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Cloud Home holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Cloud Home has 14K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Mach Note's written reviews are positive against 40% of My Cloud Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mach Note ships an update every 9 months, My Cloud Home every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
