# LTYA Baseball vs PlayMetrics

The clearest difference is rating: LTYA Baseball at 5.0 against PlayMetrics's 4.1. LTYA Baseball also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium). PlayMetrics's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 5) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LTYA Baseball holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PlayMetrics has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LTYA Baseball ships an update every 5 months, PlayMetrics monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
