# StringMaster Pro vs Rhythm

The clearest difference is price: Rhythm at Free against StringMaster Pro's $14.99. Rhythm also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (340 vs 20). StringMaster Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On rating, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Rhythm is free to download; StringMaster Pro costs $14.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rhythm holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rhythm has 340 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 67% and 68% positive.

StringMaster Pro ships an update every 3 months, Rhythm every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
