# 2nd vs Tessie

The clearest difference is rating: Tessie at 4.8 against 2nd's 1.0. Tessie also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 70 months) and ratings volume (9.7K vs 1). 2nd's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 2nd sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Tessie sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tessie holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tessie has 9.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

2nd ships an update every 70 months, Tessie weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
