# ¡Learn Spanish! vs LANG

The clearest difference is monetization model: ¡Learn Spanish! at free against LANG's free with in-app purchases. LANG's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 2.5K) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.5). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ¡Learn Spanish! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and LANG sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

¡Learn Spanish! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.5K and 12K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of ¡Learn Spanish!'s written reviews are positive against 72% of LANG's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

¡Learn Spanish! ships an update every 5 days, LANG weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
