# Be Focused vs Timmy

The clearest difference is rating: Be Focused at 4.7 against Timmy's 4.0. Be Focused also leads on ratings volume (4.3K vs 1). Timmy's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Be Focused sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Timmy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Be Focused holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Be Focused has 4.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Be Focused's written reviews are positive against 100% of Timmy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Be Focused ships an update every 5 months, Timmy every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
