# Be Focused vs Pomodoro

The clearest difference is ads: Pomodoro at none against Be Focused's shown. Pomodoro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). Be Focused's advantage is ratings volume (4.3K vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Be Focused sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Pomodoro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pomodoro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Be Focused has 4.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
