# MultiTimer vs pinkYgadget

The clearest difference is ads: MultiTimer at none against pinkYgadget's shown. MultiTimer also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (16K vs 15). pinkYgadget's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 16.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MultiTimer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and pinkYgadget sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for MultiTimer against 4.8 for pinkYgadget. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MultiTimer has 16K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.
