# MultiTimer vs VizTimer

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: VizTimer at none against MultiTimer's 4. VizTimer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). MultiTimer's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MultiTimer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. VizTimer asks for nothing beyond the download.

VizTimer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MultiTimer has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MultiTimer ships an update fortnightly, VizTimer every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
