# Aruba PEC vs Comelit CCTV

The clearest difference is rating: Comelit CCTV at 5.0 against Aruba PEC's 3.7. Comelit CCTV also leads on iOS requirement (12.1 vs 15.6). Aruba PEC's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Comelit CCTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aruba PEC has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of Aruba PEC's written reviews are positive against 0% of Comelit CCTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Aruba PEC ships an update every 5 weeks, Comelit CCTV every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
