# The Vector Converter vs Tiff Viewer

The clearest difference is ratings volume: The Vector Converter at 4.8K against Tiff Viewer's 188. Tiff Viewer's advantage is review sentiment (36% vs 22%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Vector Converter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Tiff Viewer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for The Vector Converter against 4.6 for Tiff Viewer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Vector Converter has 4.8K ratings behind it against 188, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 22% of The Vector Converter's written reviews are positive against 36% of Tiff Viewer's.

The Vector Converter ships an update every 5 months, Tiff Viewer every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
