# The Vector Converter vs V

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: V at none against The Vector Converter's 6. V also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). The Vector Converter's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Vector Converter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. V asks for nothing beyond the download.

V holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Vector Converter has 4.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
