# The Vector Converter vs AutoCDR

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AutoCDR at 100% against The Vector Converter's 22%. AutoCDR also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). The Vector Converter's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Vector Converter sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and AutoCDR sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AutoCDR holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Vector Converter has 4.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 22% of The Vector Converter's written reviews are positive against 100% of AutoCDR's.

The Vector Converter ships an update every 5 months, AutoCDR fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
