# PowerSchool Mobile vs StudentSquare App

The clearest difference is rating: PowerSchool Mobile at 4.6 against StudentSquare App's 3.9. PowerSchool Mobile also leads on ratings volume (941K vs 3.8K) and chart position (#19 vs #97). StudentSquare App's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PowerSchool Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PowerSchool Mobile has 941K ratings behind it against 3.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of PowerSchool Mobile's written reviews are positive against 47% of StudentSquare App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PowerSchool Mobile ships an update monthly, StudentSquare App weekly. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
